@todc, what do you think about using panels as the basis for cards? The options are to modify the panel styles so that all panels have the Google card feel, a panel-card class could be added.

The differences with the existing panels are primarily padding and border-radius.

I think the differences are really minor to warrant adding additional classes. If cards offered additional functionality or styling beyond the default panels, it might be more compelling imo.

I'll update the panel class to reflect the card style. We can always change things later if new functionality is needed.
