What version of OSX are you running?

Ok, I thought that this project would be gone by now, because

  • I thought that Mavericks would have it native (Mavericks is old news, I know)
  • I thought that everyone would abandon this project for something better

Since people are still around, I'm going to recompile it. However, I'm on Yosemite, and I want to know how many versions back I need to support. Please send me your infos and I'll start setting up a Travis build system.

Here's mine:

System Software Overview:

  System Version: OS X 10.10.3 (14D136)
  Kernel Version: Darwin 14.3.0

I'm also on Yosemite do the kernel versions vary within a osx major version?

I didn't quite understand (but I'm pretty tired). My version is 10.10.3, so that means:

10: OS X
10: Yosimite
3: (Latest OS update from App Store)

@tarwich, I have the same configuration as you

Cool. Great input. I just have one thing to say:

Mooooar!

System Version: OS X 10.10.4 (14E46)
Kernel Version: Darwin 14.4.0

BTW Plugin doesn't work

System Version: OS X 10.10.4 (14E46)
Kernel Version: Darwin 14.4.0
System Version: OS X 10.10.5 (14F27)
Kernel Version: Darwin 14.5.0

New here. Unclear to me if this project ought to be making Markdown files (.md) searchable with Spotlight, but it doesn't appear to be doing so. (Installed via Homebrew.)

@duozmo The project just provides the QuickLook program and not a Spotlight plug-in.
Although it'd be fairly easy to make a Spotlight plug-in.

@MaddTheSane Gotcha. The Readme says, "Will make spotlight index the file contents," but that's from a while ago, hence my confusion.

Software:
    System Software Overview:
      System Version: OS X 10.10.5 (14F27)
      Kernel Version: Darwin 14.5.0
      Boot Volume: Macintosh HD
      Boot Mode: Normal
      Computer Name: shh
      User Name: shhhhh
      Secure Virtual Memory: Enabled
Time since boot: 9 days 23:26

Even on macOS Sierra everything is fine!

System Version: macOS 10.12 (16A313a)
Kernel Version: Darwin 16.0.0
