Getting this warning on OSX:

2010-10-06 14:33:41.451 growlnotify[57535:60f] could not find local GrowlApplicationBridgePathway, falling back to NSDNC

That message means, essentially, “Growl isn't running”.
Are you using an up to date version of growlnotify?
You tried to stop and start Growl?

I do get Growl notifications, i'm just getting that warning message.
I'm using growlnotify version 1.2

Strange ... humm ... What version of your OSX?
I think what NSDNC means:
NSDistributedNotiticationCenter
So this is not using the UDP path at all on the local system.
