Border between split windows not visible clearly

I love the theme a lot. however, the one thing that makes it difficult to use this theme, is that the border between split windows (both horizontal and vertical) is not visible clearly. It just blends with the background

Suggestion: changing the colors of status bar background and the vertical split border would be great

If anyone would like to try experimenting with different background colors for status bars and colors for borders, it would be great! Especially if comparison screenshots were provided. ❤️

(the old color is on the left and the new one on the right)
