Closed this issue · 7 comments

Hi,

I have a stereo issue on IIe (enh), the reactivemicro phazor card gives me the following result with mb-audit .

$00 = 1 in slot 4 $80 nothing SP nothing 65C02 detected.

From the mb-audit (v0.9) screen output, it's not detecting the 6522 at $C480 - it should show at least a "?" symbol.

Can you try swapping the 6522 chips and see if mb-audit gives you a different output?

EG, (after swapping chips) if the 6522 is faulty, then I'd expect something to now show on row "$80"...

Test2_afterswapping 6522

Hi Tom,

Second test after swapping the 6522s, I just push a little bit all the chipsets.

Test3_afterswapping 6522 retest

Third test I re swap to originel position the 6522s.

Test4_Return original poisition 6522

In this photo (from 2 days ago), the mb-audit code is hanging - because you don't get to the Slot #4 :Press CTRL+RESET ... line.

Second test after swapping the 6522s, I just push a little bit all the chipsets.
Third test I re swap to originel position the 6522s.

But in these two photos from today, you get the same result for both swapped & not swapped 6522 chips.
So this implies to me that there's a problem with the card's socket (or connection) for this first 6522 socket. (And hopefully the 6522 chips are okay, but I can't say for sure.)

I suggest you contact ReactiveMicro and ask Henry if he can offer a replacement.
btw, I have given him mb-audit, and I think he is now using it to test his cards. So you can explain to him that mb-audit indicates a fault.

For information, Re active micro sent me a new phasor card and no more issues ! the previous card had one 6522 chips KO !

Thanks for your help to debug my card.

Thanks !
