I attempted executing the vFeed_update.py as well as several different manual download attempts. All efforts generate a 404 file not found error. Please advise.
Dear bud,
Yes for now the vfeed.db is suspended. the fact is some jerks are selling the db. I'm rewriting the rules. It will be available within the next coming days.
Sorry for this inconvenience. I'm doing whatever to provide for free but letting others making money of it, this i cannot afford.

I completely understand. I have been dabbling with the NVD cpe dictionary
and cve feeds and waiting...someday... for Technopedia to publish their
Api. I saw what you were doing and, like yourself, thought why reinvent?
Your progress is substantially farther along than mine. I will keep an
eye out.
Toolwatchers seems pretty cool. I have never experimented with penetration
testing. Obviously, technology attacks are among our greatest potential
threats. The attackers have forever to find the one big one. I might play
a bit in this technology domain. It is certainly one of those skills that
will never become obsolete.
Thanks.

Thanks guys for the support. I'm just finalizing the newest rules for this db. It will be available very soon. Also a dedicated website and more improved code and documentation to be expected this year. Got also many great features to come ... Sorry for this inconvenience, but i don't like when ppl sell my job without sharing the benefits.
I'd love to try this out as well.
Glad that i came across this thread.
The december version of vfeed.db is now ready to download. Just start vfeed_updater.py and it should work.
I'm updating the vFeed License and many changes are coming.
