Follow Special:MyPage links when opening pages

hello! I am trying to write a guide on how to use Mediawiker and in the interest of letting people copy-paste help text, I wanted to tell people to type Special:MyPage/sublime test when opening their first page (which should resolve to User:TheirUsername/sublime test). But it looks like this redirect isn't being respected, I'm getting an error message:

In the interest of making tutorials easier to write & follow, could you make this redirect be respected always?
