Plex is syncing watched only without syncing collection

Suddenly since 1st of August without changing anything on the plex server , collection stopped syncing on trakt , only watched is synced and I’m seeing in trakt what i am currently seeing is visible

i removed the plugin and added it again but it didn’t help

Same thing is happening in Jellyfin plugin, so must be some kind of version breaking change or a load issue.

On mine only TV Shows are working in Collections. No Movies.

I have had to re-enter the Auth PIN and it will work for a few days before stopping again. Re-entered the PIN again and works for a few days again.

I'm having the same issues for about a month now. I was using "Full" Sync for my library before, without clean collection. I tried enabling "clean collection" and set snyc to "Push" when the issues started, and that had fixed the problem until yesterday. I have tried restarting Plex and chaning settings back to "Full" and back, but that didn't help either. I am currently trying if it will work again after a full library refresh (since new episodes only trigger a partial refresh) but that will take some hours to finish.
Strangely, Playback process is still being synced just fine as of today.

Okay, I think I know waht is happening here, at least for me. The Problem isn't with this Plugin at all, it is a problem with the Trak.tv Web-App.

My newly collected Episodes just showed up all at once. and I noticed, it showed a little "caching your data" toast at the bottom of the page before they showed up. This doesnÄt happen on every refresh, or every time I added new Episodes to my collection, but only a couple of times per day, and this is when new stuff will show up. This also does not happen for Watches, only for the collection. So I think Trakt might just be throttling requests on collections recently because of demand as I have also noticed their site is a little slow recently.

I had the same issue where a movie/episode would get scrolled and marked as watched on Trakt, but the library sync wouldn't work.
In the logfile, there were a lot of lines like: "WARNING (plex_metadata.guid:115) - Unsupported metadata agent: tv.plex.agents.none"

Setting the Movie library's agent to "Plex Movie (Legacy)" and for Shows to "TheTVDB" solved this issue and let the plugin sync my library with Trakt.

@Katorone , I have the same issue with sync but want to use the newer Plex Movie agent instead of the Legacy one. Supposedly the newer one finds better matches and is more performant.

Does anyone know if the plugin would be updated to support the new plex agents?

Update: If I use Kitana and then do a push for movies and TV Shows they sync and show up as it should. Will see if this helps with future syncs or not.

I've tested PlexTraktSync and this works with the new scanner/agents nicely. I wouldn't say they find better matches, in my experience. But they are a lot faster for downloading metadata. The best scanner I've tried is ASS/HAMA for Series, but it uses their own ID internally and sadly doesn't work with any of the sync tools/plugins.
