Trakt not authorising the scrobbler

Hey everyone. Earlier this month, I moved my Plex setup to a new machine (Intel NUC, Windows 11 x64) and just realized that this plugin no longer scrobbles my plays. I spent the whole day today trying different forks and fixes with no luck. At some point, I revoked the plugin's access from Trakt settings (https://trakt.tv/oauth/authorized_applications) and now it doesn't reapear there even after I reset it's settings and get a new PIN. Bumping this up. Everything was working fine a week ago when I had to reinstall windows. Reinstalled in the exact configuration, windows 10 64bit, Plex server version 1.32.5.7210, most recent rg9400 fork, reauthorized trakt (although as far as I can tell these PINs never "take" on their website and show as authorized but was never a problem before). No scrobbling, collection syncing, anything. There must be something else going on reading all the random troubles people have been having on these forums in similar situations.
i just moved to plex from kodi last week and found this plugin only to end up here with the same issue. Ive never authorized a device with trakt with a pin like this though, ive always had to use the activate link instead so maybe this is trakts fault. Id love for this to work though because as much as i love trakt its just not worth the 30 annual cost for VIP so i can use the official scrobbler.
