UE5 - Reload anims only play on simulated proxies the first time

Subsequent reloads don't play the anims on simulated proxies.

Changes to how anims are replicated broke this.

Any updates with this bug? Is there a Fix yet?

I don't foresee having time to work on fixing GASShooter for UE5 since so many things broke. Epic's Lyra project is a much better sample project for a shooter using GAS.
