WebExtError: Received bad response from ... status: 500; response: {"detail":"Internal Server Error"}

It seems to have worked in the end - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/addon/tridactyl2/versions/5700007 [link will only work for me/cmcaine] - but annoying to distribute that build now so I will make a fresh one "soon"
