document platform support

Hi @trlinkin
The metadata and README show a lot of supported platforms though the versions of those platforms are missing. Do you have versions that we can use to document that? Should we just put in the README that all posix like systems are supported?

@ghoneycutt - yeah, good point. It does need to cleaned up a bit. I plan to come back around and convert it (align rather) to PDK structure and latest/greatest stuff. I don't have the time to test every platform version but I think I have a decent amount represented in data. I'll make sure they get directly identified in the metadata/README.

ok, this was incorporated into release 1.3.0 and 2.1.0.
