Photino.HelloPhotino.Blazor hangs with app not found

On Ubuntu 18.04, Photino.HelloPhotino.Blazor sample
dotnet run
doesn't open a window, but prints to the terminal:
File "app://app/" could not be found.

I'm having this same issue on Linux and WSL2. Works fine from Visual Studio.
