Could you elaborate a bit what this means? What configuration is currently not working? Should the retro Linux be on the server or client side? On the server side, this does not really make sense as connecting a machine with an OS without the latest security patches directly to the internet is not secure (and even if we were willing to take the risk, it would be really difficult to get the embedded modern Chromium browser to run there). On the client side, I see no reason why it wouldn't already work (there is e.g. Firefox 1.0.4 on Debian Sarge in the compatibility table); if there is a specific browser that could work but doesn't, then specify that in an issue.
