Elden Ring AMD R9 280X : After 1.03 update UI bug.

Not sure if caused by the game itself or the d3d12Proxy, can't run the game without it to test + I haven't seen any reports from others at the moment.

I run it in 1280x720, native resolution is 1920x1080, UI is bugged in both. Tweaking graphics doesn't work, simple things like dying in game, picking up items, dropping , buying, selling doesn't fix it. Again, this could have no correlation with the .dll at all...

Ran debug, runs just as it should. Will try the Vulkan Version. Probably DX or Vulkan api has nothing to do with this :/

Okay someone posted verifying integrity of game files fixes this. I took out all d3d12 stuff from the game and changed the start_protected_game.exe back to its original file.

That didn't fix it, I'll try the Vulkan stuff now probably.

Ok I'm really dumb so I'll just post this for anyone who is as dumb as me and needs help.

You need the new eldenring.exe to become your new start_protected_game.exe otherwise you'll get the same bug as me.

So either do that by verifying game files whilst having all the d3d12 stuff and the changed files inside.

You'll get a "1 file has been found missing and reacquired" which is the start_protected_game.exe that we have changed from eldenring.exe.

All you have to do is rename that to start_protected_game_original.exe and rename the new eldenring.exe to start_protected_game.exe.

Hope I'm clear and helped someone lol. Didn't try the Vulkan stuff at all.
