External links disappearing when opened in ckgeditor

An external link written that way [[http://www.example.com|Click here]] and working, when opened again in ckgeditor becomes plain text and we lose the link.

I'm afraid I can't reproduce this. It's never been reported before, so it could have something to do with context, so if you could zip up a page where it happens I will check it out.

Apart from this, you should switch over to ckgedit, which now has all of the ckgdoku features built into it, and ckgdoku, which is being discontinued, will get only bug fixes, not upgrades to features.

Here is a page where you can reproduce it : http://santeco1.wwwmi3-ss12.a2hosted.com/wiki/!santecom/doku.php?id=test
I just noticed, it only acts like that in chrome, but it works fine in firefox and explorer.
(I'm already on ckgedit.)

Still can't reproduce this, not even in Chrome. I have chrome 68 on Windows 10.

I loaded your link into chrome and, yes, I see what you are saying, but this is not a fully functioning instance of ckgdoku. I'm not sure what you've done, but to begin with there is no link tool and the editor cannot be switched between the two sides of ckgdoku.

It's not ckgdoku, it's ckgedit. There is no link tool because I used the alt_toolbar config here https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:ckgedit:configuration . It can switch between dw editor and ckgedit, but you have to go back to the previous screen and go back in.

not ckgdoku, it's ckgedit.

That shouldn't matter.

you have to go back to the previous screen and go back in.

Correct, if I understand you: You are using the dokuwiki media manager and linkwiz, and then you click on ckg filebrowser; that exits the editor, and when you reopen the editor you are now using the ckg filebrowser.

In any event I have tried this in firefox, chrome and opera and cannot reproduce it. You have not indicated if you have found any javascript errors and what OS you are using. First, however, I would disable all your self-installed plugins.
