".NTFS-3G/X:" mapping not great for chkdsk

I'm not sure whether anyone has brought this up before on the mailing list. The current way to define drive letters for symlinks & junctions involve creating symlinks like "X:" in the .NTFS-3G directory. The issue is that chkdsk removes them on sight for having an illegal name and it's a bit annoying to recreate them. Maybe we can do without the colon?
