Browser naming inconsistency: 'Microsoft Edge' vs 'Chrome' / 'Firefox' / 'Internet Explorer'

This is just something I noticed on the "Browsers and devices" on the docs: why are all browsers named by just their name, but is "Microsoft Edge" fully written? Why not just "Edge". This is perhaps a little bit nitpicky, but it is just... off. The Wall of Browser Bugs has this inconsistency as well.
