Looks like we might need to think about changing the name. There's a unit-conversion library that is also named pint. It looks pretty sweet: https://github.com/hgrecco/pint

Anyway, it's going to be virtually impossible to use this pint and that pint in the same python environment.

Looks like we never really finished renaming it from sonde at the python module level anyway, so probably easiest thing would be to keep that.
