Reinstalling Slim Text can reset the path to your home folder. Try reinstalling it to fix it temporarily.
- uninstall Slim Text (You might need to clear the cache of Chrome)
- restart chome
- install Slim Text again
I will investigate why it crashed Chrome
Thanks very much ,i have reinstalled it and it works well.
once i open a folder which need root previlieges, chrome will crash.
i think if you reset the folder when you open the slim text,it will always
work well thouth someone will not like the setting .
And there is a question, before you open a folder, have you judge the
previliges and reject the action if you need promote your previliegs?
Sorry for my bad English, thanks you.

.
Yes, it will check permissions before open a folder. But it won't prompt your for root password or administrator permission.
I don't know why it crashes Chrome. I will try myself and fix it.
I think the issue had been fixed in the lastest version of Slim Text (0.1.1). Could you please have a try?
