sup tag is not catered for

Closed this issue · 4 comments

If you use SUP tag for superscript text markup, you'll notice it increases the current line's height and it looks unnatural. I expected Typeplate will take care of this, but it doesn't. There are few methods thoroughly discussed on stack overflow how to tackle SUP tags. Maybe it would be worth incorporating one in the next Typeplate release.

Here's a quick test of few lines of h2's using latest Typeplate (number is wrapped with SUP):

Sometimes things get missed and in this case it looks like that did so thanks for bringing this to the table. I'll see what I can decide on to fix this in the nxt release 🍻

Hi! I'm wondering should we close this issue, quite some time passed :)

no we can keep it open.

Hi all, I'll close because it doesn't seem like anybody's ready to seriously investigate this. Thank you for your attention. Feel free to reopen if you confirm it is still an issue.
