Add JavaScript localization

As noted in #139, JavaScript messages (for example the "Click to enlarge this image" text) are not properly localized. This task involves two steps: finding a technical solution for handling the localization/internationalization and finding appropriate translations for the supported languages (currently just English and Norwegian Bokmål).
