How to evaluate validation set on local desktop machine?

like title suggests, is there a way to evaluate our features on a desktop computer without having to set up slurm and gcp?
When I ran run.py it gives RuntimeError: Unknown server (batch mode) error

sorry i did not see the run_mode=interactive option, will close this issue now
