Is there an existing request for this feature?
- I have searched the existing issues and found none that matched mine
Describe the feature
Starting with 1.21 go is providing a bespoke structured logging package in slog. Currently we use logrus for this but we should aim to migrate to slog.
This also requires us to bump the go version to 1.21.
