Ubuntu 24.04 bash unlimited scrolling not working

I tried unchecking "Limit scrollback to:" option under Preferences for the one and only "Unnamed" profile as shown in screenshot below:

Despite that, a portion of my command's output at the start is cut off.

This looks like a screenshot of gnome-terminal, so the issue is unrelated to the app-center.
