Generate Map Tool slow

The Generate Map tool sometimes takes awhile to load (2+ minutes). The tool itself was freezing/not responding a lot for me when I was trying to enter different parameters and caused ArcMap to crash before I ran the tool.

Alyssa, I may have resolved this along with #140 - I'll send you a new version soon, and I'd be interested in if it seems more responsive to you. Thanks
