I was in a meeting with Carmina today to go over Sympa lists and we noticed some anomalous behavior with Roles.

• User ‘jerzee’ showed up in Sympa as having a Roles affiliation. The plaintext file shows his account (and others, such as ecmead) though the user does not appear in the Roles GUI. Checking on the account in ADUC, they do have affiliation to the group Roles is looking for, though there is not a 1:1 relationship between the security group and Roles itself.
• User ‘jerzee’ shows up as Active in RM, but uInform shows the account was disabled on 12/30/2017.
• User ‘ecmead’ is part of the role all-sts in ADUC but does not show in the Roles GUI. They were previously affiliated with the STS department, but that affiliation was dropped some time ago. The user appears under the “All STS” group activity in RM even though the search conditions are only looking for DEPARTMENT = Science & Technology Studies (STS).
