How revert/remove build?

The icc-brightness hasn't been working on my Dell XPS-13 9365, running Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS | processor is Intel® Core™ i7-7Y75 CPU @ 1.30GHz × 4 | graphics card is Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 615. It's not working very well (I can only modify the colors and saturation when I increase brightness, so I end up unable to reach my computer's actual max brightness), and the brightness now adjusts itself based on the colors of the current window, e.g. if the window has a dark theme, the brightness goes down. I'd like to remove the build but I'm don't know how. I've tried "sudo make uninstall" but nothing.
I'm new to Ubuntu so I apologize if this is a silly question. I've looked through many help pages but I haven't been able to figure it out.
