removing density_equation attribute

Sticking with the "there should be one way to do things" suggestion.

It appears a user can set both the density and the density_equation attribute and then it become unclear which is being used.

So removing the density_equation attribute but allowing density to be a string (which gets evaluated) is perhaps the best way to go.
