Ignore chdman version

Opened this issue · 3 comments

I've been following this project for a while, but I don't understand why the chdman version is looked at when the options are the same. Those of us who are updating the version have problems because we can never use the program.

I understand that it is to make sure that all the options work, but for that, you can add an option in the menu that says, ignore chdmand version and problem solved.

Thank you.

Ill look into it. Thanks

This is needed. I actually just tried to use the software and ran into this issue. I don't really know how to find a version of chdman.exe that is compatible with your software. I mean, your note tells me which versions are but finding them are the issue. It would be nice if this "stop prompt" could be removed. And disclaimer, use at your own risk.

Found the following chdman versions in the download files for Retrobat Frontend for Windows. 240, 226, 209, 170, 078. Leaving this here for anyone that really needs one of the older versions of chdman to use with this software.
