Downloading the generated subtitle files

Is it possible to download the subtitle files that llplayer generates? This is really handy, especially if I want to use these subs later: on llplayer or with another software like asbplayer.
SubtitleEdit may be a better choice in such use cases, but will implement a simple save function in a week
Sure, I agree, this is indeed a useful option. I would also like to have this possibility. The computer is weak, and the transcription process is slow. But with this, you could save the subtitles in some popular format and then quickly open them. I'll be waiting impatiently!
As for saving the translation, if you export the SRT, you will likely save the half-finished result unless you watch it all the way through.
LLPlayer is not designed to handle different languages for each subtitle, so the translation may not work with some engines when restored.
Saving a half-finished translation in a format other than SRT is going to take some time, as I need to figure out the format.
This may be move to another Issue.

That works too! llplayer is literally the first program that does not require voodoo magic to install whisper! I use a bunch of scripts for it but always wanted a nice ui and youtube integration.

It starts at the seek position and runs independently.
Seeking or stopping afterwards has no particular effect, since it is running independently of playback.
If you seek with ASR enabled and re-enable it, the subtitle generation starts from there.
If you would like to change this behavior, you could submit another Issue.
Another equally useful option would be to create a list of words you don’t know. Currently, you have to write them down somewhere to review later. It would be great to highlight words, add them to a local dictionary, and at the end, have the option to download them in a "word - translation" format—at least in a .txt file. These could then be uploaded to flashcard apps. Please consider this as well. Thank you.

normally, ankiconnect is used for that
Yeah it’s on roadmap as “Word Management” in the “future” as planned.
Supported in v0.0.3.
You can open the export dialog from the sidebar or the context menu.
Note that saving the translation results is not useful unless you run it all the way through.
(Max Translate Count parameter in settings could work like SubtitlesEdit if set to a larger value)
