f and t doesn't select in visual mode

Summary

Possibly caused by #14, f and t does not select when in visual mode.

Reproduction Steps

I tried this:

1. hx
2. Enter some text.
3. Type vft.

I expected this to happen:
Select until the letter t.

Instead, this happened:
The cursor moved to the letter t without selecting.
