Grunt html vs. nu html checker

Hello,
I could not find a way to pass a simple html output (as a string) to the grunt html task. Since it is available in the API of the Nu Html Checker it is expected to be available also in this plugin. Could you please help out? Is this functionality available here?

No, unfortunately that's not available.
As a workaround you could write the HTML string to a temporary file, validate that, then delete the file?
