Backed up messages go to Inbox instead of SMS folder in gmail

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install SMS Backup+
2. Backup SMS messages
3. Thread is stored in gmail Inbox instead of SMS folder
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It used to store the backups in the SMS folder, it no longer does it; not sure
after which update the behavior changed.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SMS Backup+ 1.4.3
Android 2.3
Samsung Epic 4g (GS)

I guess this one can be closed, it seems to be more a gmail issue:
Add filter for "SMS with" and let the filter mark it as not important.
Check "Don't override filters" in Gmail Inbox settings.
