[Feature request] Set light mode to default (so as to be non-painful to astigmatic users)

It turns out that when you are astigmatic-- as I am-- that dark mode, i.e. light text on a dark background, increases eye strain.

People with astigmatism (approximately 50% of the population) find it harder to read white text on black than black text on white. Part of this has to do with light levels: with a bright display (white background) the iris closes a bit more, decreasing the effect of the "deformed" lens; with a dark display (black background) the iris opens to receive more light and the deformation of the lens creates a much fuzzier focus at the eye.

In my case, my astigmatism is severe enough that I cannot read white text on a dark background without intense pain. It was actively painful for me to look at v3.01, as I was trying to find where the dark mode switch was located.

I realize that dark mode is the fashion of our times, and it looks really cool. It's just one of those things where if you don't have the problem, you don't realize how bad a simple choice can make it.

My suggestion is to either that the first time the program runs it should ask about light vs dark mode, or light mode should be set by default and the user can then configure it to dark.
