Firmware downloads fail consistently when performed after installing a package, can be reproduced with packages from the store (tried Balance and float) as well as custom packages.

Steps (shown in the video):
Connect to VESC
Install a package, from store or custom
Disconnect
Reconnect, wait for package settings to show up
Now load firmware (e.g. HW60 built-in)
==> Fails on Erase
Disconnect, Reconnect, and try again - now it works.
