I wanted to add vegas to a jupyter notebook - but the release is ancient. Will a newer release be provided ? If not what are the alternatives for accessing an up-to-date release ?

It'd be really nice to have a release for scala 2.12.

Currently only the 2.11 package available, and there is an incompatibility issue when using the 2.11 version with scalac 2.12.8

Any updates on this? The Git history shows the latest release was almost 2 years ago ? Is this library being actively supported?
