Verge version for mining node

goodthebest opened this issue · 8 comments

I'm having too many rejected blocks with algo scrypt. Last time few years back I used branch clearnet4.0 to run mining node now it's no long available. What verge branch or version should I use to setup node for a mining pool?

almost all of our pool admins in our discord chat are on master

what pool software are you using? old node js stratum?

yiimp

yiimp requires node stratum? when was yiimp last updated? or at least the stratum portion?

yiimp has its own stratum implementation.

@goodthebest : all blocks rejected or only some?

it's standard yiimp with scrypt algo, mining fine with other scrypt coins.

like 40%/50% rejected

sounds like you are running into algo block limiter - only 6 blocks out of 10 from same algo allowed.
the 7th block will be rejected until other algos solves more blocks

the "mining_disabled"-flag in blocktemplate is signaling the current state
