option disabled doesn't work on iOS

Just tried the demo on the iphone simulator and an ipod touch and it appears that all options in the dropdown are still selectable regardless of whether they have already been chosen. It's a shame because this is a great plugin, I may try and fork a version that removes the used options from the select instead?

Can you think of a way to reproduce the issue without an iPhone / iPad ?

Do you have a mac? The iOS simulator comes bundled with xcode, otherwise I'm not sure. If you have any ideas I'd be happy to try them for you.

I don't.
The first thing I would try is to upgrade jQuery to the latest version and see if this help.
