for example it would be nice to have click "add item", have it auto-focus on the first input (or an option) so that you can type immediately, then press enter to add the item. simple stuff like that will go a long way for usability i think

I have a working proto which does not fully satisfy me. This need a bit more of thinking, expect something in the coming weeks.
