Tests fails when updating to Mongoid 3.x

I needed to change the below lines to make almost all examples pass:

def self.default_sorting_options
  [:created_at.desc, :updated_at.asc]
end

to

def self.default_sorting_options
  ['created_at.desc', 'updated_at.asc']
end

Examples using queries with dates are failing too:

I've just pushed some changes that made most of the specs pass, there are still 2 specs failing, I'll check them later.
