Weird UI behavior when timer is ringing

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • Set timer
  • Turn display off
  1. Press stop when timer goes off
  2. Press back
  • Now, in main screen, start another timer
  1. Turn off display and wait for timer to go off

Expected behavior

  1. Alarm should stop, screen should disappear and display should turn off
  2. This should not be possible. After pressing stop, app should disappear and screen should turn off
  3. Screen should be visible with stop button

Actual behavior

  1. Alarm turns off but screen with button to disable the alarm stays.
  2. Transition to main screen of app
  3. Timer is ringing but screen stays locked, no buttons are visible. After unlocking phone still no screen to disable the alarm. It only can be stopped in the notifications

This issue appears in some variations.

Smartphone Information

  • Device: Pixel 7 pro
  • OS: Android 14
  • App version 0.5.0
