The error stays the same if the class extends RealmObject, irrespectible of whether the class is annotated with @RealmClass. The project is written in Kotlin.

Hi @fess89,

Your problem seems to come from something related with kapt. I'm not sure why is happening, but I think is not something related with the library itself. You can try the sample project and you will see how it compiles fine either using RealmModel or RealmObject.

I had the same error when forgot to change realm version after upgrading to 2.0.0. Might not be your case though.
