Will it work with standalone sass / dart?

We dont have node installed and plan to use the standalone version of sass. We have ruby installed and could get your gem installed. Will this work? I am not a pro in the ruby world so hope it makes sense. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Not a member of this project but yes that should work - sass-json-vars is specifically for Ruby Sass I believe. If you were using Node, you would be using https://github.com/Updater/node-sass-json-importer.
