Hi, please I need help!
Two days ago I've updated my LMDE5 system, cinnamon was 5.2.7 and after several updates I have cinnamon 5.4.9.
But I realized that now window buttons look ugly, more thicker, even if I apply mint-y themes.
For example, here how it looks a mint-y theme in my lmde5 virtual machine:
and in my phisical pc:
Same thing for Fluent gtk in my lmde5 virtual machine:
and in my phisical pc:
What's wrong with my updated system? How can I fix this? I don't really understand what's the issue after cinnamon update.
Please help! I don't want to reinstall my mint system again!!
Ask to me every other info, log or other regarding my system.
Thanks to everyone!
Change your icon theme
Thanks! Before cinnamon update the icon theme did not affect the windows icon buttons (I always use Papirus icon theme).

I heard that the Linux Mint website state that since Cinnamon 5.4 window decorations will be decorated with the GTK theme itself, not with a separate WM theme anymore
