Queue not processing?

Closed this issue · 7 comments

I set up an email schedule with 400 subscribers. I set it to send 5 p/ Week. I have the cron process running, and the first two scheduled times have came and went. It still says "queued" for each of the emails, and has now queued emails for both sets.

Mandrill is showing only 3 emails sent (which were from another schedule with just me on it), so they are definitely not being processed. I tried hitting "Send All", but it doesn't do anything.

any error logs?

Nothing at all in the MODX error logs or in the httpd error log. I am seeing that the cron is firing in the logs, and when I try to hit the cron location with my browser I get the following message:

ID:
Subject:
Scheduled for:
Count: 6

So, to make things better, I got it to finally send out a test newsletter that I set up, but it sent it out to everyone on every category list. It then deleted the schedule I had created for no reason.

Test newsletter? To all?
Did u use the test button?

I just created a new Category called "Test" and set up a new schedule for that test group. I hit the "Send" button, and suddenly noticed that 250 emails went out in Mandrill (my hourly limit). I had to stop it, but it the recipients ranged from a few different categories. I believe it was just sending to all subscribers and not the specified "test" category, which had 2 recipients.

Okay, I somehow a duplicate email got put into the system, and removing that got the processing running correctly. However, I am having a weird issue with the content. I currently have two emails running with different content. But everyone is receiving just the one email, and the second emails content is being disregarded.
