mdp vs mdpress

I like this program very much and i also like mdpress.

Do you think you could have mdp ignore the mdpress transition commands =... ? (of course it would need to only omit such lines immediately following slide separators ---). example:

= data-x="1000" data-scale="2"

# Chicken
- Chicken
- Chicken Chicken

This feature would save from needing two versions of the .md file if a person happens to use both programs.
