Purpose

Make a dashboard that shows the yields from various ways to earn in the Vite ecosystem. Users will use this information to decide where to commit their capital.

Features

  • The dashboard should show the APR from the following ways to earn:
  1. Voting on each of the SBPs that offer to pay rewards to voters

  2. Staking VITE for VX

  3. Staking VX for dividends from ViteX

  4. If you think of other ways to earn, feel free to add


  • For each of the above methods, the way to determine the amount of earnings is to participate in each mechanism with a small amount of token (Vite Labs will seed each participant with the token for this purpose)


  • For each mechanism above, the dashboard should also show a 30-day history of the APRs and a 7-day moving-average APR


  • There should be a short tutorial for how to participate in each of the mechanisms (e.g., here’s how to stake VX for dividends from ViteX). There may be existing tutorials for some of these. Vite Labs can provide the respective links


Prize

  • $3500 in VITE 


 
Submission Requirements

  • A working frontend and backend is ideal, but partial submissions are possible depending on project scope and submitted code quality.

  • We will require a demo of the submission.

  • Submission must utilize Solidity++ and/or the Vite protocol (platforms based only on EVM and ERC-20 contracts do not qualify).

  • All submissions, including all code, must be open source for future use and reference by the community, and links to external documents must be provided in the Github repo submission.


 
Judging Criteria

  • The Vite team will run tests to make sure basic functions perform as required.

  • The difficulty/scope of the DeFi project chosen and completeness of the implementation.

  • The code submitted will be subjected to a review for extensibility, organization, proper documentation


 
Winner Announcement

  • After the hackathon we will announce the winner(s) when all demos have been reviewed and judge's scores tabulated.
