Create a DAO Governance Tool for Vite

Prize Bounty

$2500 in VITE + VITE merch

Challenge Description

Important decisions to be made on the Vite network will be voted on by VITE holders, with their VITE, via a DAO. Similarly, key decisions for ViteX will also be voted on by VX holders. We're looking for a tool that supports governance of arbitrary projects built on Vite network.

The following functions must be included in a valid submission:

  • Ability to connect Vite wallet by displaying a QR code scan-able from the Vite App.
  • Ability to submit proposals.
  • Ability to allow voting for proposals with a specified token. The token can be VITE, VX, or any other token issued on Vite.
  • Displaying voting results at the end of the poll.

If you do so, make sure to include all features including submitting proposals, voting, and administrative functions.

The aforementioned Snapshot website is for Ethereum. In your version of the DAO tool, you will need to make calls to relevant Vite APIs such as Vite.js SDK and ViteConnect SDK.

Submission Requirements

  • A working frontend that captures all functions described above.
  • All submissions, including all code, must be open source for future use and reference by the community, and links to external documents must be provided in the Github repo submission
  • We will require a demo of the submission

Judging Criteria

  • The Vite team will run tests to make sure basic functions perform as required
  • The code submitted will be subjected to a review for extensibility, organization, proper documentation

Winner Announcement Date

  • The Vite Labs team will schedule a demo after receiving the submission. And a winner will be announced within 48 hours after the demo
