The problem
Thanks for this integration. I am able to get a lot more options than the official integration. This is more of a question than a bug. I tried to read through other issues but couldn't find any information. Is it possible to switch Air Purifiers (I currently have Core 200S and Core 300S) to Auto or Sleep mode?
What version of this integration has the issue?
0.1.16
What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?
2022.10.5

Hi
Both devices should already support auto and manual modes. Could you share the diagnostics?
Would you be willing to share your device with me so I can debug it? I don't personnaly own it...
Cheers.
Thanks for your reply. I don't see any options for switching modes. Only the fan speed option is available in Home Assistant. I am unsure if there is a mapping between mode and fan speed. I am attaching the diagnostics for both of these. Quick look at the 200S diagnostics; it seems like it is also detected/added as a 300S.
Happy to help by sharing the device. Let me know how it can be shared.
Ok, this makes me feel very dumb. I was looking under the devices tab (in Settings => Devices & Services) and below is what I see.
Never once did I click on the card itself to see what options I get. I do see the modes when I click on the entity itself.
I am so sorry for the confusion. I am very new to Home Assistant and still getting a hang of it. Thanks a lot for your time.
No problem :) I was actually suspecting you didn't look in the right section ;-)
@vlebourl sorry to bug you again. Would it be possible to set the mode as part of a Home Assistant automation?
Because under "Actions" for this particular air purifier, I get the below options currently.
ok, I'll try to have a look at this! Could you share the device in the native vesync app? you can send the sharing invitation to vlebourlgmail.com.
cheers
it didn't come through... could you send it back to vlebourl+vesync@gmail.com ?
Strange. Now you should have it.

Still not... But it's not the first time the sharing doesn't work...
